VGA

Without a graphics card, everything would look black for your PC, in the truest sense of the word, because it is responsible for outputting the graphics. The graphics processor also ensures that the data you input appears as smooth images on the screen. The technology has now advanced so far that the graphics processor is often already a component of the main processor. Otherwise, there is a slot on the motherboard for the graphics card, which consists primarily of the graphics processing unit, the graphics chip, and the video and graphics memory.

Professionals and gamers need a more powerful graphics card

Which graphics card to select depends on your specific requirements on performance. Anyone who works with image processing, video editing or graphics programs needs a graphics card. Gamers, too, can benefit from a powerful graphics card: The images in PC games are becoming ever more realistic and thus require high performance graphics cards to eliminate any judder or flicker so the game can be enjoyed fully. For this target group, it is recommended to select 2 GB of video memory if playing in HD only, but at least 4 GB for those who prefer Full HD. Those who would like to game in WQHD should spend a bit more for a model with six to eight gigabytes. And those who want to play in Ultra HD resolution should treat themselves to eight to twelve gigabytes of VRAM. These specifications apply, of course, to the latest games at maximum resolution. Most games can, of course, also be played with four gigabytes of memory but this size is far from future proof these days given the rapid advances in technology. In addition to individual needs, it is also necessary to consider the compatibility with the existing motherboard, if applicable. The graphics cards available at ECOM Trading come with the modern PCI Express interface that also allows multiple cards to be operated in parallel. Furthermore, a graphics card should come with different outputs such as HDMI, VGA or DVI-I to allow an additional monitor, TV or projector to be connected if necessary.

The online shop of ECOM Trading offers you a large selection of graphics cards from the manufacturers Asus, MSI, Sapphire Technology, Gainward, Gigabyte, Manli, Palit, PNY and Inno 3D. Improve your image quality and find the right graphics card for your needs.
