Review of a great fiscal year 2013/14

Munich/ Eging am See, 12th September 2014. The ECOM Holding can look back on a great fiscal year: the ECOM Group with its 120 employees could achieve a 15% increase in total sales to more than 250 million euros. In addition to the high revenue ECOM Trading, which is specialized in trading with components, also the own brands NEXOC. and CAPTIVA could contribute a lot to the enormous growth.

“The above average performance in the previous fiscal year is also remarkable compared with other companies of the sector”, sums up the managing director Gerhard Ellinger the annual figures of the ECOM Group. The Group is a constant and reliable partner in the German and European component market since 1992. He explicitly emphasizes that particularly these characteristics have been very important to achieve such a successful and sustainable growth. Despite the continued competitive pressure within the distribution, ECOM could strengthen and even expand its market position considerably, also due to the commitment and engagement of its employees. Gerhard Ellinger underlines further that all could be achieved without additional purchases, but with organic growth.

The decisive factors for success in the component business, based at the ECOM Trading GmbH, are especially the focus on core product groups, the expansion of the assortment, the excellent availability as well as the good prices and the personal customer care. The own brands with their respective specification and the perfect positioning of the products have also contributed a lot to the successful fiscal year: NEXOC. with its premium and individual notebooks as well as CAPTIVA with its tablets, which have an attractive price-performance ratio, and its individual configurable BTO-PCs across the whole price range.

ECOM Manager Gerhard Ellinger defines as the primary goals for the current fiscal year especially the expansion of the existing partnerships with the specialized trade, the intention to convince new customers of the performance of ECOM and its own brands NEXOC. Notebook and Captiva as well as the continued advancement of the assortment und the own product line to develop further the sustainable and organic growth.
