10,000 € for children in need!
A Heart for Children! We at ECOM Electronic Components Trading GmbH have made it our goal to give back regularly and to donate a portion of our revenue to charitable causes. At the end of 2024, we donated €10,000 to SOS Children’s Villages Germany —to help provide a loving home for underprivileged children! 
What sets SOS Children’s Villages apart?
SOS Children's Villages offers a home to children in need and helps to improve the social situation of disadvantaged young people and families. In SOS Children's Villages, children whose biological parents are unable to care for them for various reasons grow up in a family environment. They receive protection and a sense of security, giving them the tools they need for a successful life. The SOS Children’s Villages association supports mothers, fathers, or families and their children from the very beginning in mother and family centers. It offers early intervention in its children’s and community centers. It supports young people with open-access programs, but also offers them a home in youth residential communities as well as opportunities in vocational training centers. SOS Children’s Villages Germany also includes village communities for people with intellectual and emotional disabilities. In Germany, a total of approximately 5,200 full-time staff members and about 1,300 volunteers provide assistance at 39 facilities. Through its more than 800 programs, the organization reaches and supports approximately 123,000 people in difficult life situations in Germany. In addition, the German SOS Children’s Villages Association funds programs in 19 focus countries and is active in 110 countries through sponsorship programs.
