ECOM Electronic Components Trading GmbH

About us

From hardware to software, from external and internal hard drives to SSDs, from monitors and complete PCs to wireless and networking products: we are your point of contact for the IT specialist trade. Our focus is clearly on business customers and resellers such as specialist retailers, system integrators, e-tailers, retailers and manufacturers. Personal customer contact, short distribution channels and fast delivery capability shape our day-to-day business and are among the cornerstones of our success.

We were awarded "Excellent Distributor" in 2018, 2019 and 2020, "Preferred Distributor" in two categories in 2022 and 2026, and "Distributor of the Year" in 2023.

Who are our customers?

We work in wholesale with resellers and business customers. These include specialist retailers, PC stores, system integrators, retailers and e-tailers, as well as assemblers, i.e. PC and system builders who source IT hardware for their daily business, projects and rollouts. Our customer base ranges from regional IT retailers to large e-tail platforms and specialised system builders who configure their own systems from components and sell them under their own brand. This includes regular call-offs as well as one-off purchases or smaller quantities.

What sets us apart as a distributor

Our strengths at a glance:

• Same-day shipping, with delivery usually on the next working day in our core market of Germany, Austria and Switzerland
• Our own PC and notebook brand CAPTIVA, with pre-configured and individually configurable systems
• High stock availability thanks to a central logistics centre
• Refurbished and B-stock programme with tested quality
• Dedicated contacts with experience in the IT channel

This combination gives resellers a strong alternative when speed, reliability and predictable purchasing terms matter.

Offers and services for the specialist trade

Depending on the agreement, our services for resellers include reseller credit solutions, same-day shipping with delivery usually on the next working day, personal service from dedicated contacts, and optional fulfilment services such as neutral shipping to end customers. In addition, our customers benefit from exclusive promotions, remaining-stock offers and fast, secure processing in day-to-day business.

PC wholesale product portfolio

Our PC hardware portfolio covers the full range. We offer a wide selection of processors, memory, hard drives, motherboards, SSDs, graphics cards, monitors, networking components, tablets, speakers and other computer accessories.

With our own brand CAPTIVA, we provide pre-configured and individually configurable systems that allow specialist retailers to expand their portfolio without assembling systems themselves. Clear warranty periods and direct technical support help with marketing in the specialist trade.

We are happy to answer questions about our range, availability or projects personally.

Europe-wide shipping and drop shipment

We supply small and large resellers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Sweden. Other countries on request. Our range includes a broad spectrum of leading brand manufacturers, for example Asus, Seagate, Kingston, Intel and SanDisk.
As a full-range IT wholesaler, we combine these brands with our own brand CAPTIVA, so that projects can be delivered from a single source.

Orders can be placed conveniently online through our wholesale online shop. Our warehouse in Dachau allows us to ship orders on the same day as a rule. In our core market of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, delivery is usually made within 24 hours.

On request, we ship neutrally in the reseller's name directly to end-customer addresses. This option suits e-commerce models and decentralised customer structures.

Refurbished and B-stock: sustainable and predictable

In the sale section of our online shop, specialist retailers find special lots as well as refurbished and B-stock hardware. These devices and components are technically and visually inspected, cleaned and tested for functionality. They are original branded products checked by our experts.

Clear warranties and warranty periods provide additional security. This way, cost advantages and sustainability go hand in hand with reliable quality.
