ECOM has once again impressed with its outstanding performance in supporting specialty retailers and system integrators and has been honored with the Excellent Distributor Award for 2020. Over a two-month period, approximately 3,000 CRN readers took the opportunity to vote for distribution partners in the IT industry. As a result, ECOM was even able to improve its overall score in the “Full-Range Distributor” category from 1.92 to 1.89 compared to the previous year. It is all the more gratifying for the wholesaler to see in black and white that sales and business partnerships based on trust and good cooperation are crowned with success.
For the second time, ECOM has secured an outstanding position in the top ten of the overall ranking and is also leading the way in the other individual categories compared to the overall average. The Bavarian company once again improved its scores in the areas of service and product offerings, scoring particularly well in “Competitive Health Insurance Rates” with 1.69, “Availability” with 1.71, and the exceptionally well-designed “Online Ordering System” with 1.83. The Dachau-based distributor also made a leap to the top tier in terms of financing services and payment terms, impressing with a score of 1.89. ECOM achieved the highest average score among all participants in the “Assessment of Staff Expertise” category, with a score of 1.63.
Michael Christlmaier and Christian Schmid proudly accepted the award and are delighted by the confirmation that ECOM chose the right path 27 years ago and is reaping the benefits today. “We remain committed to personal contact and expert support from our trained specialists. Inspired by this outstanding award, our customers and business partners can look forward to another year of improvements and the expansion of our service offerings,” said Michael Christlmaier, holding the certificate recognizing ECOM as the Excellent Distributor 2020.
